Psalm 122
1-2 When they said, “Let’s go to the house of God,”
my heart leaped for joy.
And now we’re here, O Jerusalem,
inside Jerusalem’s walls!
9For the sake of my family and friends,
I say it again: live in peace!
For the sake of the house of our God,
God, I’ll do my very best for you.
We invite you to open the eyes of your heart and imagination to pause and reflect on a long journey you’ve taken. Perhaps it was when you were a small child on a long journey. Maybe you can hear echoes of “are we there yet?” And the joy and happiness that we felt when we finally made it to the destination.
Or perhaps you’re on the long journey now. What questions arise as you go on your way?
Whatever arises, give gratitude with God.
