Psalm 145:8-12 MSG
8 God is all mercy and grace—
not quick to anger, is rich in love.
9 God is good to one and all;
everything he does is soaked through with grace.
10-11 Creation and creatures applaud you, God;
your holy people bless you.
They talk about the glories of your rule,
they exclaim over your splendor,
12 Letting the world know of your power for good,
the lavish splendor of your kingdom.
Reflection
Begin by taking a few deep breaths. Perhaps you place your hand on chest as you settle in to your inner sanctuary with God. Read through the passage above slowly. Take a few moments to reflect on your own life. Is there a present moment or a memory where you can see that it is “soaked through with grace”? Move to see the world around you. Notice creation and creatures around. How might they “applaud” God. Join with creation in exclaiming God’s goodness.
