Psalm 25:4-5 & 8-10
4 Show me the right path, O Lord;
point out the road for me to follow.
5 Lead me by your truth and teach me,
for you are the God who saves me.
All day long I put my hope in you.
8 The Lord is good and does what is right;
he shows the proper path to those who go astray.
9 He leads the humble in doing right,
teaching them his way.
10 The Lord leads with unfailing love and faithfulness
all who keep his covenant and obey his demands.
Reflection
Read through the Psalm slowly two times. Take out a piece of paper and a pen or pencil. Draw a squiggly line on the paper. It’s time for your journey. Place your finger at the starting point. If you find yourself in a place where you’re making a decision or something has been on your heart, spend a moment with God acknowledging what that is. Before you begin tracing your “path” read verses 4 and 5 as your prayer. Pray verses 8 and 9 as you move your way slowly on your path. Pray verse 10 when you reach the end. Pause as you reach the end of your path. Take a moment to voice gratitude for wherever you are on the journey today.
