Matthew 13:31-32

31 He put before them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed that someone took and sowed in his field; 32 it is the smallest of all the seeds, but when it has grown it is the greatest of shrubs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches.”

Reflection

Take a few nice deep breaths – inhaling fully, exhaling slowly. As your mind begins to quiet slowly read through the verses above.

Today we invite you to a visio divina, a sacred seeing with God and with the mustard seed.

Where is your attention drawn to in the photo? Is it a color, a shape, something else entirely? Just notice. Take it in.

Take a moment to wonder why you might be drawn to that particular noticing.

Again, notice where your attention is drawn in the photo. See what is going on around that space.  What stirs within you? Is there a question or something that resonates with your own journey today?

Take a few moments with God wondering and noticing all that the mustard seed might have for you today.
